For their 50th Anniversary the Swiss furniture company USM launched an international initiative called project50, that challenges to re think the modular. I was privileged to be one of Parsons ex-students invited to the workshop starting this project, that aims to bring together future creative talents from all over the world.
There couldn’t have been a more perfect place for this workshop than the magical Domaine de Boisbuchet. An incredible place that, since it has been acquired by Alexander von Vegesack around 20 years ago, has become an international design destination and an oasis where architecture, art and design meet nature.
Here some impressions of this unforgettable week.
