2023 Aléa launched a long term trans-disciplinary applied research project for bio-inclusive practices at Domaine de Boisbuchet.

The Garden Lab is an open air laboratory providing a space for immersed experimentation and development of reimagined processes with living systems in partnership with universities, collaborators and sponsors.

The Domaine, surrounded by a forest, pasture, a river, a lake, and an architectural park, provides an expansive outdoor laboratory that integrates local biodiversity, community, resources and waste streams.
